HvH ARTS Has Found Its Forever Home! We Now Need Your Help To Secure Funding and Help Bring This Vision To Life
A Permanent Home for HvH ARTS to Build Creative Futures
"At HvH ARTS, we believe every child and young person deserves the opportunity to discover their creativity, develop their talents and feel a sense of belonging. But we currently operate in sub-standard spaces. With your support, we could move into a permanent creative home that offers a place of stability for our children and young people."
HvH ARTS is a children's art charity that exists because of the link between child poverty and access to the arts and culture. Backed by our patron Damian Lewis CBE, alongside ambassadors including Sadie Frost, Kate Moss, Jude Law, Freddie Fox, Stephen Mangan, and Michael Palin, we provide free arts, music, photography, and film programmes to young people.
Through creative opportunities, professional guidance, and one-to-one art therapy and mentoring via our Youth Ambassador Board, we help young individuals overcome barriers, build confidence, and pursue their dreams.
HvH ARTS core mission is aligned with the UN Convention of The Rights of a Child, specifically Article 31 states:
Member governments shall respect and promote the right of the child to participate fully in cultural and artistic life and shall encourage the provision of appropriate and equal opportunities for cultural, artistic, recreational and leisure activity.
Transforming Lives Through Creativity
Our young people are proving what can be accomplished when given encouragement and opportunity:
Two of our scholars have progressed to Central Saint Martins, three to The BRIT School, two to ELAM music college, and two to Leeds University to study music.
One scholar studying drama at King’s University is currently appearing in her first professional theatre production.
Three young drama students featured in the short film Vicious Life, earning five film festival awards this year.
Eight students featured in The Painting and the Statue, directed by Freddie Fox, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Twelve music scholars have performed at major events, including Latitude Festival, Wilderness Festival, Camden Summit 2026, and the Mayor of London’s Summer by the River Festival at The Scoop.
Our art students contributed to an anti-bullying campaign with the United Nations, and one artist won the Youth Division of an Illustration Competition for the Japanese Embassy.

"I've made some of my best friends through HvH ARTS and gotten some amazing opportunities like making our own short films, going on trips to art exhibitions and meeting interesting, successful people. As part of the TMMP band, I got the opportunity to record and release a song I wrote at Guy Chambers' studio, working with Sam Sure!" - Giada, Age 16
The Urgent Challenge: Leaving Behind Substandard Spaces
Despite these extraordinary achievements, HvH ARTS currently operates across three separate, substandard spaces. Our team and young creatives contend daily with poor air quality, managing water leaks, and damp walls.
To sustain our mentoring, resources, and growth, we urgently need a high-quality, fully functioning creative centre that we own—a place of stability where marginalised and underprivileged young people always know they belong.
"More than ever, we need to support young people due to the increased cost of living crisis and rising youth mental health challenges. We rely on donations to allow us to continue the work we do supporting our beneficiaries living in disadvantaged circumstances.” - Debbi Clark, CEO & Founder.
Our Goal: HvH ARTS Has Found a Permanent Creative Home in Camden
We have identified a freehold building in Camden that will bring all our programmes and head office under one roof. The new centre will house a music studio, photography studio, dance/yoga/wellness studio, a cooking and nutritional learning kitchen, and art therapy sensory rooms. This permanent creative home will offer stability for our young people and foster high levels of creativity, confidence, and character. But we can't do this alone, we need your help to secure our building.
To make this vision a reality, we need to raise:
1. £350,000 immediately to secure the freehold building.
2. A further £350,000 for rebuild and renovation costs.
We Need Your Help to Complete the Purchase: FOR ARTS SAKE
Our FOR ARTS SAKE campaign brings together the generosity of supporters and the creativity of renowned artists, actors, musicians, and sports stars to fund our new home.
"Sponsor a canvas. Inspire an artwork. Help give HvH ARTS a permanent home and empower the next generation of children and young people."
How Your Support Turns into Action
Sponsor a Canvas for £30: Your £30 donation provides a blank canvas and materials (paints, brushes, or charcoal).
Personal Connection: With your permission, your name will be written on the back of the canvas you sponsor.
Artist Collaboration: HvH ARTS sends the canvas to a participating celebrity or artist who creates an original, one-of-a-kind artwork.
Fund the Building: The donated artwork is sold online or at a gala dinner, turning an initial £30 contribution into significant funds for our building appeal.
Donate Original Art: Collectors and supporters can also donate existing original artworks from home collections to be sold for the appeal.

Be Part of FOR ARTS SAKE: Help Us Fund A Creative Home for Our Young People
Every contribution brings us closer to securing our permanent space where young people can continue to learn, create, and thrive.
Your connections could make a real difference.
If you know someone at a university, art college, gallery or art fair, or have a connection to an artist, actor, sports star musician, curator or collector, we would be delighted to hear from you. A personal introduction could lead to a donated artwork, a new collaboration, an opportunity to showcase the collection or a supporter who helps bring our permanent home closer. FOR ARTS SAKE gives everyone a meaningful role in purchasing our home.
Sponsor a canvas today or make a donation to support our building appeal. Please help us provide our young people with a place to belong.
