We at Wansbeck Valley Food Bank are well familiar with stories that describe the journey from wellbeing to the despair of food poverty. And every story we hear resolves our number one priority to ensure clients have food for today and access to appropriate resources that lead to self-sufficiency tomorrow.

Since 2013, and through the current consequences of Covid, the foodbank remains absolutely and totally committed to relieving food poverty. Today our doors remain open to those who have nowhere else to turn and it will be the same tomorrow and thereafter until the day food povery hopefully becomes some distant memory.
