FORGET ME NOT FIREWALK 2020

More than half of the UK population know someone who has been diagnosed with a form of dementia. And 1 in 3 of us will develop dementia in our lifetime.

In Aberdeenshire alone, there are over 3000 people living with dementia and it is estimated that a further 1000 are living with the condition but have not yet receieved a diagnosis.

Forget Me Not Club provide support to a very small percentage of those living with dementia by welcoming them to our resource centre, Bennett House in Banchory. Each year it costs in the region of £250,000 to run our centre, therefore it is vital that we continually find ways to fundraise.

By signing up to Forget Me Not Firewalk 2020, you are helping enable us to continue to provide the activities, companionship, events, entertainment and support to our clients and their families/carers.
