Story

Foundation Fortnight will run from Monday 14 October until Friday 25 October. This year we have extended our campaign to two weeks enabling colleagues to get involved with a range of activities whilst learning more about the Charles Russell Speechlys Foundation and the impact it has on our charity partners.

The Charles Russell Speechlys Foundation was set up as we believe that it is our responsibility to help level the playing field by improving access to justice, education, and professional opportunities for disadvantaged groups. The aim of this fortnight is to increase the awareness around the work the Charles Russell Speechlys Foundation and its charity partners do and the importance of us all doing what we can and where we can to support the issues in our communities and foster a more sustainable and just society for all .

The Foundation currently has 6 key charity partners, Emmaus, Khulisa, Home-Start UK, SafeLives, Buglife and Z2K. We have worked together across pro bono advice, sharing our business services professional skills, offering in kind support and fundraising. Our charity partners do incredible work in their field: tackling issues of poverty, inequality, social injustice, homelessness, domestic violence, and environmental conservation.

We want to celebrate the work we’ve achieved together so far, give everyone the chance to learn more about the impact our support has for our charity partners whilst raising funds and getting involved with an event or volunteering in the fortnight.
