…to increase awareness in Men’s Mental Health, to help prevent suicide in Men and raise funds for Mind Jersey.
Many of us remember Diamond Rick Jordas with fondness and a smile, so this walk is to raise funds in his memory for a great cause.
Men's Mental Health is so important to recognise and is often overlooked. As Men, we don't talk enough about how we feel or how our daily lives are affecting our mental wellbeing.
The need to be stereotypical Alpha Male and retain that status is one reason we don't talk, another is that expressing emotion is a sign of weakness... it is NOT!
The Foxtrot500
From September 1st to September 15th we’re walking from The Grand Hotel to St Aubin’s Village and back which is 6 miles. Our target is 36 miles each day which means we will complete 500 miles on day 14 or 15.
You can support the Foxtrot500 challenge by sponsoring the event or making a donation to the cause.
Individual sponsors:
Per mile, per lap or per day.
Corporate Support:
A business can sponsor any day during the event, enter a team of your staff to complete the challenge and complete as many laps as you can during the day. It could count as part of your workplace CSR.
Minimum sponsorship per participant is £500
Each participant will receive a Foxtrot500 branded t-shirt also branded with their business logo, a branded water bottle and Gym sack.
We only have 14 corporate sponsorship days available and on the last day we are inviting one team member from each of the 14 to represent their firm and help us complete the challenge.
