Give the Gift of Freedom
More than 40 million people today live without freedom - trapped in exploitation, trafficking or modern slavery. The Anglican Alliance's Freedom Fund is our call to stand with them. Your gift helps churches across the Anglican Communion protect migrants, promote safe migration and respond with courage and compassion.
Our regional consultations across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas have brought churches together to uncover how trafficking is happening in their contexts and how they can respond. From this shared learning emerged the Freedom Framework, giving churches confidence and practical tools to prevent exploitation and support those at risk.
Our partnerships also played a vital role. With The Salvation Army, COATNET, Stop the Traffik and Fifty-Eight, we learned from one another and deepened understanding of trafficking routes, risks and patterns. Through Fifty-Eight, the Just Good Work app provided migrant workers with clear, trustworthy information about recruitment, employment and their rights - helping them make safer choices.
To strengthen this work even further, we convene the Anglican Working Group on Migration, enabling churches and agencies to share insights, track where migration is taking place and learn from one another as they support migrants across the Communion.
Together, we can help build a world where freedom is possible for all.
