Frenchay CC is raising funds to help us get through the financial difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic, and to ensure that we are in a secure position for future seasons.
Frenchay Cricket Club, like so many other sports clubs is facing uncertain times. Cricket activities (other than limited net sessions) are not currently permitted, with no clear idea of when (or if) we will get any competitive cricket this season.
In the absence of subscription and membership fees, match fees and income from bar and social events our income will be substantially reduced this year. We have reduced our expenditure as much as possible, but there are unavoidable ongoing costs - not least the maintenance of the grounds in order to make sure we're ready to go as soon as cricket matches are allowed again. Looking longer term, there will also be an impact on our plans for the new pavilion.
With this in mind, we would be hugely grateful if you would consider donating to Frenchay Cricket Club. Last season, annual subscriptions alone raised around £14,000 (based on Senior Membership at £90 and Youth Membership at £60). We fully appreciate that these are difficult times for everyone, but please give whatever you can to support us. If you are a tax payer we will also be able to claim Gift Aid on your donation.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We hope to see you all back on the cricket field in the not too distant future!
