Story

Why Sponsor the Fresh Food Face Off?

Demonstrate your business or organizations commitment to improving our community

Promote economic vitality, agribusinesses and community development throughout Broome County

Reach over 250,000 in the Southern Tier through advertising, promotion and social media for Fresh Food Face Off

The Fresh Food Face Off is a friendly competition of local chefs and restaurants. Local chefs create delicious dishes using locally grown producefresh from the Broome County Regional Farmers Market. Dignitary judges and Fresh Food Face Off guests vote for their favorites, and the winning restaurants and chefs gain bragging rights and public recognition.

CCE Broome County is a local non-profit organization. We do not receive any direct funding from Cornell University. Each year our generous community and business leaders demonstrate their support for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome Countys programs by becoming Fresh Food Face Off sponsors.

Our 4-H programs are reaching more youth through in-school, afterschool and club programs than ever before, inspiring future careers and our future leaders. Our nutrition programs are supporting our most vulnerable families, addressing food insecurity, obesity and creating a healthier community. Our workforce development programs are helping out-of-school young people become job ready, find employment and become self-sufficient. Our agricultural development programs are helping veterans become farmers, farmers grow and test new products and entrepreneurs start new agribusinesses.

The Taste NY stores on Front Street and at the Southern Tier Welcome Center on I-81 highlight local products that directly support economic development.

All funds raised through the Fresh Food Face Off directly support CCE Broomes programs. All sponsorships and donations are tax deductible 16-6072872.
