Friend Fest 2025: Unite for a Cause, Compete for Good

📣 WHAT IS FRIEND FEST?

Get ready, Los Angeles! My Friend's Place is launching a new event called Friend Fest, bringing together local businesses, friend & community groups, and families for a one-of-a-kind, community-driven fundraising experience to help end youth homelessness. Teams of friends and colleagues will compete and raise at least $1,000 through JustGiving, rallying their networks to support young people in need. This team challenge will culminate at a live event on October 12th, 2025 from 1-5pm.

Hosted at the unique & vibrant The River LA venue, a hidden gem along the scenic LA River bike path. This event combines high-energy fun, meaningful impact, and powerful team spirit with teams competing in three epic challenges on the day of the event:

🐯 Mascot Showdown – Unleash your team’s creativity in a hilarious costume competition. Your mascot can be person, pet or an object!

🎨 I’ve Got Your Back Art Challenge – Use your teams power of connection to create art in a new and fun way. Think a classic game of Telephone, but on canvas.

🏃🏼‍♀️ Friendship Relay – Work together in a high-energy obstacle course celebrating teamwork.

Expect live performances, amazing food, engaging games, and unforgettable moments. Whether you’re a team competing or a solo spectator, there’s a space for everyone to connect, celebrate, and contribute to something greater.

With prizes, trophies, and the unmatched joy of giving back, Friend Fest is perfect for team-building and making lasting memories—all while helping change lives.

Is your team of 3-6 people ready to join the fun? First thing first, please review the Fundraising Guide HERE. It contains a step-by-step to set up your team page as well as FAQs and best practices.

Hit the 'Start Fundraising' button on this page to create a team page. All teams are required to raise or contribute $1,000 and are automatically registered to take part in the event on October 12th. Teams will also receive an emailed toolkit to help fundraise.
