Friend in Deed began life as a community interest group, formed by our founder and managing director, Kelly Lindsay. Driven by a desire to make communities kinder by bringing people of all ages together, Friend in Deed became a registered charity in 2018.

Friend in Deed is a Norfolk based charity that creates friendships across generations through various intergenerational schemes. We aim to reduce loneliness and promote kindness through schemes and projects that engage people of all ages. We offer a range of support services for older people, including those living with dementia both face-to-face and remotely. We support people living in care homes, sheltered housing and in the community, Our Little Visitor scheme engages hundreds of local families each week, and our work with schools allows us to embed positive volunteering opportunities in the lives young people.
