Story

Protect the Place You Love

Clean Cornwall is a community led environmental initiative working across Cornwall to reduce litter and prevent waste before it reaches our countryside and coastline.

For over 20 years, it has worked with thousands of volunteers to remove litter, protect wildlife, and create a cleaner, greener Cornwall for everyone.

With your support, we can continue, but keeping Clean Cornwall at the heart of this work costs approximately £45,000 every year and we rely solely on grants, Change Maker memberships, and generous donations to make this possible. We receive no core government funding.

Why Support?

Every £1 donated creates £6.86 in social, environmental and economic value.

In 2025, our volunteers removed over 2,500 bags of litter from Cornwall’s beaches, towns, and countryside. This is based on 51% of the litter picks recording their data so the total is likely double that. We estimate it to be close to 48 tonnes of waste.

Donations go directly to providing litter-picking equipment, supporting volunteers, delivering education programmes, and running campaigns that tackle waste at its source.

A Way to Give Back

Your donation helps us:
