Friendship House supports our community members when needs arise. From food and shelter to necessities like showers, laundry access and clean clothes. Donors provide clothing to help meet this need and Friendship House needs a new storage facility to house it for safe keeping. The Giving Room opens two days each week for people to access the items they are seeking. Tuesdays and Thursdays we see dozens of locals through the Giving Room and it is wonderful for their needs to be met. Right now, the exterior storage facility is failing, water damage and access for pests to enter is making it harder for Friendship House to offer Clean and Dry items after being stored in this shed. We are eager to build a new, secure shed for the items to be kept in the highest condition until passed along to a new owner.
