Hambleton School currently has only 16 HP Stream tablets for the childrens use, as well as a handful of Learnpads which are mostly beyond their functional lifespan. These are shared between our 175 pupils; this is simply not enough. While computers cant replace traditional teaching methods they undeniably enhance a childs learning experience. As well as supporting reading with AR quizzes computers are vital to teach E-Safety awareness, wider curriculum research and computer coding skills. We know that pupil engagement and enthusiasm often improves with the use of this valuable resource.

The sad fact is that our school simply doesnt have a budget for computing equipment therefore if we want to purchase more computers then we have to provide the funding. Friends of Hambleton School would love to be able to purchase at least 20 further devices, this purchase will benefit not only our current pupils but also the future pupils of our school.
