Support Friends of Pagham Parish Church

Pagham Church members are a vital part of the local community, and involved in practical support for all parishioners. Maintaining our beautiful 12th century Grade 1 listed building is a costly challenge, and all financial help is much appreciated.

The Parish Church of St Thomas à Becket, Pagham, is a Grade 1 listed building from the early 13th century, on the site of a 7th century Saxon place of worship. It is part of the Anglican Diocese of Chichester, and its ministers and congregation provide pastoral support to parishioners and visitors.

Story

Over the centuries, the early building has been extended and refurbished. Recent works, funded partly through local giving, include major repairs to the roof, and minor improvements to the seats in St Andrew's Chapel behind the church. Future projects include a new entrance gate and an upgraded PA system.
