FareShare North East are making waves this June as Team Ripple Effect take on the Great North Swim!

A team of our staff are taking on the challenge to raise vital funds and shine a light on food insecurity across the North East.

Every day, we work to rescue good, surplus food that would otherwise go to waste and redistribute it to charities and community groups across our region - from Berwick down to Northallerton. That food helps provide meals for people facing economic hardship, supporting families, older people, and individuals who need it most.

By supporting our swim, you’re doing more than cheering us on. Every £5 you donate could provide around 25 meals for people in our communities.
