Volunteers take on The Tees Heritage Walk for FareShare North East

FareShare North East volunteers and staff are taking on the Tees Heritage Walk this May to raise funds to support our work. We are a charity that redistributes surplus food to organisations across our region.

Every day, we rescue good-to-eat, surplus food that would otherwise go to waste and get it to charities and community groups across our region. That food helps provide meals for people facing economic hardship; supporting families, older people, and individuals who need it most.

Story

FareShare North East volunteers and staff are taking part in this year's Tees Heritage Walk support our work across the region. We are a charity that redistributes surplus, good-to-eat food across the North East. We work to reduce food waste whilst supporting thousands of individuals and families who are facing economic hardship.

The Tees Heritage Walk is a community-focused event that takes participants through scenic areas of Teesside, all while raising awareness and support for important local causes like FareShare North East. The walk itself is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in the community, explore the rich history of Teesside, and contribute to an important cause.
