Story
Why We Need Your Support
Rising heating costs mean our classrooms and crèche are getting cold and for the women and children who rely on RCLC, warmth is safety and dignity. And your donation will not only keep the centre warm, but the lights on, and the water running.
Last year, we supported 595 women, a 17% rise from the previous year, with 23% living in temporary accommodation and 45% facing significant disadvantage. For many, RCLC is the warmest, safest place they visit all week.
“The Centre is very welcoming… everyone has equal opportunities to participate.”
“Coming to this Centre has changed my life drastically for the better.”
How Your Donation Helps us to keep classrooms warm, the lights on and the water running, so women can learn in comfort.
Heat our crèche, which supported 83 children last year
Provide a safe, welcoming environment for refugee, migrant and vulnerable women
£10 donation will keep our facilities bills in check-this winter.
The Women Behind the Statistics
“I’ve always wanted to go to school. Now my dream has come true.”
“The Centre offers more than learning. It is warmth, support and safety.”
“I was homeless after I got my visa… it was very difficult. I felt helpless back then.”
Your donation wraps real warmth around women rebuilding their lives.
Because Warmth Is Hope
Thank you for helping women and children feel safe, warm and cared for this winter. The future just got that much warmer, thanks to you.
