Story
Thanks to a generous donation from Pavers, we have successfully renovated half of our library. Now, we are embarking on the second phase of the project to complete the transformation of the entire learning resource centre space.
The upcoming renovation will encompass a full overhaul, incorporating additional computers to facilitate both full-class instruction and independent learning. This comprehensive update aims to cultivate an environment that is not only conducive to learning but also engaging for both students and teachers alike. The modernised learning resource centre will serve as a hub for intellectual exploration, fostering a positive atmosphere that extends the school’s commitment to education and literacy.
By enhancing our learning resource centre/library , we aspire to create a source of pride for the entire school community. This revitalised space will stand as a testament to our dedication to educational excellence and intellectual growth. We believe that such investments have far-reaching effects, positively influencing the well-being of the broader community.
With your help we've already raised £4500 towards the school library and have set our target at £8000 on Just Giving to reach our overall target of £12,500 to complete the refurbishment. With Pavers kindly agreeing to match fund up to £12,500.
We are also aiming to exceed this figure to fund the installation of outdoor drinks stations to enable us to achieve a goal of going 'plastic free' in the canteen.
Thank you for your support. The Fulford community plays a huge part in everything we achieve together.
