Story
Jenson Joseph tragically passed away on 30th April 2024. Jenson was a young man who naturally lit up any room he walked into, and is sorely missed every day by those who were lucky enough to know him.
He was a man who brought so many people together. His memory continues to live on, with friends from all walks of life coming together to form communities and raise money in his honour.
His family and friends have already made incredible contributions through a variety of fundraising efforts, raising tens of thousands of pounds.
Now, some of Jenson’s closest friends have decided to set themselves another challenge.
The self-proclaimed Jog Fathers have decided to test themselves (and their friendships) to the limits, by running from Villa park to Valley Parade. This is a distance of 105 miles and the route falls between two of Jenson’s great sporting loves.
From the stadium of the mighty Aston Villa, a team who he fell in love with through his idolisation of John Carew, to the home of the plucky chickens of Bradford City, his local team with whom he travelled round the country on countless away days.
By running this route, we are raising money for Natasha's Foundation, a cause very close to our hearts, in the hopes of preventing future tragedies from befalling other families and friends.
Through campaigning, education and research, the charity’s mission is to make allergy history, in particular food allergy, and improve the lives of the millions of people in the UK living with food allergies
We ask that you please give what you can to honour a wonderful man and his silly mates ❤️
