A Well for Djarkpanga: Clean Water, Brighter Futures

In the rural village of Djarkpanga, every drop of clean water is precious—and far too rare. Families often walk long distances to collect water from streams or shallow pits, many of which are unsafe to drink. For children, this means missed school days. For women, it means hours of heavy labour. For everyone, it means a constant risk of waterborne disease.

Cholera, diarrhoea, and other preventable illnesses take a toll on the community, especially the most vulnerable—the elderly, young children, and pregnant women.

When the people of Djarkpanga reached out to us, they asked for something simple yet life-changing: a safe, nearby source of clean water. We listened.

With your help, we can finish building a well that will transform daily life in Djarkpanga. Clean water will mean healthier families, more children in school, and a stronger, more hopeful future for the whole village.

We need to raise just £780 to complete this project. Every pound brings us closer to a day when no one in Djarkpanga has to drink unsafe water again.
