Story

Otis is aged 3 from Ipswich. He has a rare genetic condition called STXBP1 disorder which has resulted in difficult to manage epilepsy and global developmental delay.

Otis will be 4 in April and he has a lot of additional needs as he is non-verbal, and not able to sit, crawl or walk as yet and is not able to grasp objects with his hands.

Otis is a very happy and chill boy. He can express himself with vocalisations and has some hilarious facial expressions to let you know if he is annoyed. He loves to watch tv and listen to music, and he loves engaging with adults and children.

As any parent would we want the best for Otis, and strive to do everything we can to help him develop and access the world.

Thanks to everybody's donations, Just4Children have purchased Otis an off road wheelchair which has already made a huge difference to our lives. There is always more specialist equipment to help make Otis's life a little easier, and Just4Children will continue to use donations for private physio sessions enabling him to access the world.

We have never asked for charity, but feel so honoured and grateful to the people who want to help us.
