Sponsor the MyOTAS Team in the 2026 Fun Walk Trust 5K Walk – Or Walk to raise funds for us yourself!

This September, the Fun Walk Trust is once again bringing the community together for the much-loved Essex Fun Walk—and MyOTAS is taking part! This is your chance to enjoy the outdoors, connect with others, and raise vital funds to support our work with children, young people, and families.

How It Works

First of all, you can sponsor the MyOTAS team via JustGiving. The team are taking part in a Walk & Talk event in Wickford on Tuesday 22nd September.

Secondly, you can join us on that walk and collect your own sponsors. If you want to come along please reserve a spot here

Thirdly, you can arrange your own walk when and where it suits you – anytime during September 2026. You can stroll through local parks, take a seaside ramble, or make it a family adventure in your local area - invite friends, family, or colleagues to join and sponsor you.

All funds you raise will directly support MyOTAS projects—helping us provide opportunities, activities, and tailored support for young people with additional needs.

The Bonus Pot – Your Fundraising Goes Further

The Fun Walk Trust has a special Bonus Pot—funded by generous local businesses—which will add an extra 30–40% to whatever you raise for MyOTAS.

That means if you raise £100, we could receive up to £140 without you walking an extra step!
