***Urgent Appeal***
We need to furnish our 2 new refuges as soon as possible so we can get Women and their Children to safety.
These Women and children will have fled their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. When they arrive at refuge they will need the basic items that we often take for granted, somewhere safe and secure that can be a temporary home whilst they begin their journey of healing and recovery, looking forward to a fresh start.
We want to challenge the misconception that refuges are not welcoming, take a look at the before and after pictures of some of the properties that we’ve been putting a lot of love and care into. We want these properties to be safe and comfortable and are asking for your help to make them feel like home for the Women & Children we support.
The money raised will be used to purchase furniture and soft furnishings for our 2 new serenity refuge properties.

£10 - Could buy a duvet for a child
£15 - Could buy an iron
£20 - Could buy a crockery set for a family of 4
£30 - Could buy a Toaster and Kettle
£50 - Could buy a microwave
£100 - Could buy pillows and duvets for a family of 5
This service has changed my life for the better, I am more confident now and in a better place.
I have appreciated the support from Juno and feel like I have become more empowered. I feel I am able to take initiative and confidence to take on any issues or problems going forward. I have learnt to become more vocal in fighting for my rights and I know how to protect my children.
