2020 has been a hard year for many in our local communities. With the impacts of Covid19 being deeply felt and Winter and the festive season being upon us there are huge demands on budgets. We are seeing many more individuals in crisis needing help with food, toiletries, cleaning and baby packs at this time
Since March 2020 we have seen a large rise in the number of people needed our help and support to see them through a time of financial crisis. Since this time, we have developed a delivery service to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our local communities, and have faced additional challenges in balancing a huge drop in the levels of food donations we receive and the rapid increased demand for help.
This year has been our busiest ever and between April and October 2020 we have supported 1,751 people, with 2,931 food packs and provided 59,895 meals and with client need rising it looks like were set for some exceptionally busy time ahead.
If you are wanting to support Fusion foodbank over the winter period all your donations will pay for emergency packs to support individuals in crisis.
£10 would provide a toiletry, sanitary, cleaning or baby pack
£20 would provide a single person with food for 7 days
£30 would provide a couple with food for 7 days
£50 would provide a family of four with food for 7 days
We know that many people would like donate food, toiletries of cleaning items, which cover both our Christmas and regular packs, but in light of Covid related restrictions we may not be able to manage this. Please call our office on 01924 454770 Option 6 if you want to enquire about this.
