Our community of more than 5,000 medical and biomedical sciences students face new challenges and new opportunities - financial, personal, academic, and global.
The Future Medicine: Student Fund will help ensure that every student across Edinburgh Medical School has the opportunity, support and experiences they need to thrive.
Your donations could support:
• Scholarships and hardship grants both to open doors to education and for those facing unexpected financial strain
• Elective and placement grants enabling students to explore global healthcare settings
• Community and wellbeing activities that foster belonging and resilience
• Student-led collaborative initiatives both within the School and with their peers around the University, fostering creativity and new ways of exploring health
I’m so grateful to donors. Thanks to them I’m able to focus more on my studies and less on part-time jobs, and I’m not having to work 30–40 hours alongside studying.
