G20 Youth Taking on Cambodia Tuk Tuk Challenge to Help Young People

Campaign by G20 Youth Project

4 motivated young people from Maryhill are taking on a 1000km tuk tuk challenge to raise money for a trip and volunteer opportunity to Cambodia and to support their community and other young people back in Glasgow They are aiming to raise £12,000

We are a grassroots organisation based in North Glasgow that exists to support young people to navigate barriers and disadvantages and reach their goals. We do this by offering opportunities and support where and when they need it. We work with the wider community to support positive change.

Story

The G20 will be taking on the epic adventure of travelling across Cambodia to raise money for young people who have not had it easy in life.

This is a strenuous event requiring a good level of physical fitness and stamina and the G20 are excited to take on this challenge to stretch themselves over 10 days in October 2026

Four young people have been chosen to participate in this adventure based on their journey of change and their passion make a difference to their community and young people who face barriers and need support. They are role models for other young people.

G20 has teamed up with Large Minority to take on The Great Cambodia Tuk-Tuk Adventure which sees fundraising teams navigate the winding roads of Cambodia in their own 3 wheeled Tuk-Tuks! Each Tuk-Tuk can hold 1-3 team members who will take on an epic 1000km route all in the name of their chosen charity G20 Youth Project- the event has been created to inspire charitable fundraising and provide a truly unique travel experience on the beautiful Cambodia.

This event will be transformational for the those who participate as it will build confidence, resilience and a belief in themselves. They will achieve things they never thought possible and this will have a knock on impact in the community back in Glasgow. They will also take part in volunteering activities in Cambodia

Any individual or companies who could show support for the team please get in touch with us or donate directly to our fundraising page.

Big love and thanks to everyone who has supported our campaign x
