Story
Some challenges are about pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Others are about doing something meaningful for someone you love.
For one of our incredible supporters Gail, this skydive is both.
After recently losing her beloved dog Kizzy, who she rescued 15 years ago, Gail has decided to take on the ultimate challenge for St Francis Dogs Home — and dedicate her jump to the memory of her very special girl. She told us:
I am jumping in support of St Francis dogs home to raise much needed funds for the charity to continue the amazing work they are doing.

But this challenge is even more personal than that.
Having recently lost my baby girl Kizzy i am also jumping in memory of her who I rescued 15yrs ago
Kizzy wasn't just a dog. She was a beloved member of the family, and after 15 wonderful years together, her memory will now live on in an extraordinary way — helping other dogs who are still waiting for their second chance.
Gail has also chosen to take on this challenge as a below-knee amputee, making her decision to step out of a plane and take a leap of faith even more incredible.
I admire all the time and dedication that the charity put into rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming the dogs that come into their care and as a below knee amputee what better way to support them than to take a leap of faith and raise funds for them

This is what Team St Francis is all about — amazing people doing extraordinary things for dogs who desperately need a second chance. Every donation to her fundraiser will help us continue rescuing, caring for, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs in need.
If you'd like to support her incredible challenge, please donate, share her story and help us give her fundraiser the boost it deserves.
