Please help us raise £5000 to rebuild our school in Ghana!

We are heartbroken to report that a major storm has ripped through Buduburam, Ghana, completely destroying the school we support. We are urgently raising funds to repair the building so that the children can get their education back on track.

Story

Reduced to rubble

Based just outside of Accra, the school was destroyed by the rain and wind, which completely removed the roof and caused huge damage to the classroom walls.

Thankfully the local community were able to evacuate and ensure everyone was safe before the devastation struck.

We need your help!

We are urgently raising funds to repair the school building so that the children at Future Stars can return to their normal lives of learning and growing in a nurturing environment.

Based in a refugee camp, our school educates the community who fled from Liberia during the civil wars. Many of the children are orphaned and live in extreme poverty. Our school and feeding programme provides essential support for a brighter future.

The renovations will cost approximately £5000. With your contributions, the children will be able to get their education back on track.

About the charity

Inspired by the the loss of their parents in the 2004 tsunami – Rob & Paul founded 'The Gandys Foundation'. Struck by the inequality they have seen around the world, they established the Gandys Foundation to provide education, medication and nutrition to those who need it most.
