Fundraising for the regeneration of the business building rooftop garden and allotment at Edge Hill University.
The Horticulture and Sustainability Societies at Edge Hill are fundraising in an effort to improve the biodiversity of a large bed on the business building rooftop garden and to replant the allotment so that it can be used by Edge Hill students and staff.
When the business building roof garden is regenerated it will have a wildflower bed which will provide students and staff with a peaceful and calming environment where they can spend their time. The wildflower garden will also have a positive effect on biodiversity by supporting the local bee populations.
In our efforts to regenerate the allotment we are hoping to create a space where students and staff can grow their own fruits and vegetables. The money we raise will help us buy tools, soil, and seeds for these projects.
*Please note: the funds that are raised as part of this project will be used for fundraising efforts ONLY*
