Margaret Junior School serves villages near Masaka in Uganda.Opened in 2004 with 90 children in two small classrooms, the school now has over 300 children attending, many of whom are orphans or physically disabled. The Friends of Margaret Junior School was established as a registered charity in 2006 since when new classrooms have been built, together with a vocational training centre and support buildings. Clean water has been brought to the school and the school wishes to extend its work with the community by acquiring additional neighbouring land.
