Story

RUNNING FOR CHARITY

Our team will take part in the Tough Mudder challenge on Saturday 13th June 2020 to raise money for GCS, a charity that works with and provides much needed support for young people. We are raising money this year for a national Anti-Knife Crime campaign seeking to reduce the number of young people carrying knives and struggling with bullying, abuse and addiction.

The Tough Mudder is a team-oriented obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit by pushing your body and mind to its absolute limits. The military-style courses are some of the toughest on the planet, with obstacles that involve crawling under razor wire and scaling inverted fences.

Within our team will be a number of GCS staff, young people we support and friends from other organisations. Our project seeks to reach 10,000 vulnerable and disengaged young people from mainstream education and the criminal justice system across two London Boroughs with the highest rate of gun and knife crime. Together, we're aiming to raise £37,000, and we need your help to get there.

Funding raised will cover staff costs for prevention and intervention work, development and production of literature and resource materials, travel and delivery costs.

With your help, we can make a difference.

Lets get muddy to change lives!
