2026 marks 25 years since John Studzinski CBE established the Genesis Foundation.

For its quarter century, the Foundation is raising £25,000 for the next Genesis Foundation Prize, to be awarded in 2027.

The £25,000 Genesis Foundation Prize is the only prize to recognise extraordinary talent for mentoring in the arts. It gives prizewinners the means to invest further in their mentoring work and in the future of the creative sector.

Former winners include director Joe-Hill Gibbons (2025), Nancy Medina, Artistic Director of Bristol Old Vic (2024), George Turvey, Artistic Director of Papatango Theatre Company (2022) and Rebecca Salter, President of the Royal Academy of Arts (2020).
