As a response to the growing problem of food poverty in the UK, we opened Akshaya Patra’s kitchen in north London in 2020, from which more than 700,000 meals have since been served to disadvantaged children and their communities.

During school, after school or during holidays, Akshaya Patra's ability to freshly cook and deliver nourishing vegetarian meals at scale, has proven to be a reason for hope and joy for thousands of children.
