Often, our team needs to act quickly to support a dog in need, and George was one of those urgent cases.

We were phoned by a daughter who's Dad had very sadly passed away. Due to circumstances out of their control, no one could take George on short-term and she was very concerned about George. He was on his own in the home and not coping without his owner, he needed to find a home asap.

Our team sprung into action and worked quickly to search for a foster home that could take on George temporarily. Thankfully, after an urgent Facebook appeal, he was later welcomed into his foster home, where he has been adjusting to life without his companion.

Now that George is safe in a home, we can focus on his medical needs. George is overweight, which is something that can be fixed with time, a good diet and exercise, but his teeth, they require immediate intervention.

George is in need of an extensive dental to get him comfortable during his retirement years, which will cost our small charity an estimated £600.
