GES Group is proud to continue our partnership with local charity Cancer Focus NI, which began in 2023. Together, we have increased our fundraising target to £10,000 to support cancer patients and their families here in Northern Ireland. Every pound raised will remain in our community, helping those facing one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Cancer is something that touches everyone at some point, whether it’s a partner, parent, grandparent, child, friend, or colleague. At GES Group, we have felt this deeply through the loss of our dear colleague and friend, Barry Heggan, and many of our colleagues have also experienced the heartbreak of losing loved ones. Their strength and stories inspire our commitment to making a difference.

We have already completed a fantastic programme of fundraising events, including raft races, company BBQs, football tournaments, long-distance cycles, and more – we have many more exciting events planned to keep the momentum going. These events are not only opportunities to raise money, but also to bring people together in support of a cause that matters to us all.

In addition to fundraising, Cancer Focus NI will engage directly with our team by raising awareness about cancer prevention, offering free health checks in their Keeping Well vans, delivering cancer prevention seminars, and holding quick-fit health sessions.

We are grateful for the support of our colleagues, partners, and the wider community who are joining us on this journey. Together, we can make a real difference for local families affected by cancer.
