Thousands of people take part in Ride+Stride every year to raise funds to support their local churches and county historic churches trusts. In our area we raised over £35,000 in 2024, for individual churches and for our grants programme. You can take part in this fun event where participants seek sponsorship to visit our churches by walking, cycling, on horse back, on public transport or by car. Most of our Ride+Stride supporters join in with others from their church but, if you simply would like to help save historic churches and support the Trust, you can sign up on your own!

July Update: Over 70 Churches Now Participating!

We are thrilled to announce that 70 churches (and rising) are already confirmed to take part in Ride+Stride 2025!

Many of these churches will be opening their doors, offering refreshments or hosting events on the day. You can find out which churches are participating and what they're offering by visiting our website: www.ghct.org.uk

When you create a fundraising page for your chosen church, 50% of the money you raise goes directly back to the church of your choice. So if there is a church you'd like to support, this is a fantastic way of doing just that!
