Our Story
On 5th September, a team from GHE Fire and Electrical and Lions Den Gym will take on an 80-mile cycling challenge, riding all the way to the Wigan Warriors game to raise funds for two causes that mean so much to us.
We are proud to be supporting Wigan Youth Zone, a charity that provides thousands of local young people with somewhere safe to go, something positive to do, and someone trusted to talk to. Every day, the Youth Zone helps young people build confidence, develop new skills, and reach their full potential.
This challenge is also being completed in memory of Baby G, whose short life touched the hearts of so many. Through this fundraiser, we hope to honour Baby G's memory while creating a lasting impact for young people in our community.
The ride will test us physically and mentally, but it is nothing compared to the challenges faced by many families and young people every day. That's why we are determined to push ourselves every mile of the way.
Your donation, no matter the amount, will help us reach our fundraising goal and make a real difference. By supporting this challenge, you are investing in the future of local young people and helping us celebrate and remember a very special little boy.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we can make every mile count. 💙🚴🏉
