The community of Fuu, a village in the Savannah Region of Ghana has a population of about 3000 people.

The Community is seeking for your support to solicit for help to provide them with cleaning drinking water by providing them with a modern water well with solar system.

The village source of drinking water is a stream. It is also a source of drinking water for animals. The source of drinking is half a kilometer away from the village.

The community will actually benefit enormously from this project.

1. It will reduce the rampant cause of diarrheal diseases associated with contaminated or unclean water. Especially children who are vulnerable.

2. The community will be healthier and this will increase productivity.

3. Women will be less stressed since time and distance will no longer be a problem. It is women who are believed to provide water for household activities in the village.

4. By reducing the incidence of health problem, it will reduce expenditure on health, Thereby increasing their income as well.

These are some of the benefits of the mechanized boreholes of the country should have.

Sustainability of the borehole will be the responsibility of the community since it will be under a management by selected members of the community by the chief of the village.
