The Gift of Life Run is open to all abilities and ages from club runners to first time novices or walkers. There is also a children's 3k, supported by CHUF, the Children's Heart Unit Fund.
Participants in the Gift of Life Run will be raising funds for Graham Wylie Foundation in support of World Transplant Games 2019. The Games are a celebration of the gift of life as the 3000 athletes and supporters are recipients of organ and/or tissue transplant or will be living donors or donor families. The games will raise public awareness of organ donation and the need to share our wishes.
With the help from organisations, partners, supporters and volunteers the North East is set to stage an inspirational games in the beating heart of the community.
