Story

I live in a rural area and both my travel and treatment were significantly reduced thanks to your generosity. I cant thank you enough for this gift." Penny*, Breast cancer patient and mother-of-four

A Gift of Hope is a gift of financial support provided to Australians suffering from a life-threatening condition, such as cancer. People like Penny, a mother-of-four from a remote town in WA.

New medical discoveries, including medicines can help patients to live longer and to experience less pain or other debilitating symptoms. However, these treatments can often be costly and out of reach of many Australians. Financial toxicity is a term used to describe the challenges a patient can have with the prohibitive cost of accessing medical treatment, which can also impact their quality of life, causing anxiety and distress.

With your support, a Gift of Hope can directly support a person to access potentially life-changing treatment during their time of greatest need.
