Saffron Aid works in remote regions of the Indo-Pacific, such as education and environmental areas. We are helping remote schools increase enrolments of local children who currently do not attend school.
Many children in these regions do not attend school as their parents cant afford the books, pencils and clothing for them to attend, and they are forced to work on their family's local farm plot.
By providing micro-scholarships to these children we allow them to attend school as the financial burden is removed from the family.
Combining the micro-scholarships with our vegetable seed project we allow families to increase the amount of food grown to help self-sustainability as well as having excess produce they can sell at larger towns markets.
