Give an Hour, Change a Life

Campaign by The Cyber Helpline

When the clocks go back on 25 October 2026 and the UK gains an extra hour, we’re asking our supporters to donate the value of one hour to help someone affected by cybercrime or online harm. One hour’s value could provide a lifeline to a victim.

Closes 30/11/2026

Not enough is being done to support victims of cybercrime & online harm. Millions are being hacked, scammed, harassed and stalked without any expert support. We provide a free, expert helpline for individuals & families to help them understand what has happened and ensure they get safe online.

Story

One hour of your pay could be the hour someone needs us most.

Every year, thousands of people turn to us because they are facing cybercrime and online harm and don’t know where else to go. Behind every case is a real person who needs practical help to understand what has happened, secure their digital life and work out what to do next.

Our trained cyber security volunteers are there to help. They give their time and expertise so that someone facing cybercrime doesn’t have to navigate it alone.

This October, we’re asking you to donate the equivalent of just one hour of your pay and help us keep our service free for the people who need it.

Your hour could help someone understand how they are being stalked online. It could help a victim secure a compromised account, preserve vital evidence to report a crime, or take the first steps towards regaining control.

It costs us around £35 to support one victim through The Cyber Helpline.

So your hour is more than a donation. It could be the hour that helps someone feel safer, more informed and back in control.

Give an Hour of Pay this October and help make sure no one has to face cybercrime alone.
