Radisson RED Glasgow have teamed up with our pals Callum Beattie, Dave Rogers and Glasgow Live to help out with a truly incREDible charity appeal.
THREE out of every TEN kids in Glasgow are lIving in poverty - this is heartbreaking. This means effectively 1 in 3 of our children are suffering in poverty.
We desperately want to help families in this situation enjoy Christmas - the time of year when EVERY child should be happy, smiling, full and carefree!
To do this, Glasgow Care Foundation are running an appeal for donations via Just Giving that will let them buy supermarket vouchers to hand out to families living in poverty. This means parents can make sure their kids enjoy the magic of Christmas morning with gifts to open under a tree, and a Christmas dinner.
We know times are tight for all of us, but if you are able, please donate what you can. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to children, the elderly, and families in grave need of access to help this winter. It will mean the world to struggling parents - and even more to the children who may otherwise have no tree, no presents, and no dinner at all let alone a turkey.
Let's give the gift of Christmas to kids living in poverty.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
