Our Activity and Wellness Departments are AMAZING!

They creatively engage the residents of Risen Son Christian Village in whole life activities to promote wellness. Their work is KEY to our continuum of care! The departments focus in on these keys of wellness: physical, spiritual, emotional/social, intellectual and occupational/environmental.

How can you join us this Giving Tuesday? Pick a wish list item and DONATE to cover the cost. Pick a goal and create a fundraising page to share on your social media. All donations will be designated for the Activity and Wellness Departments!

ENGAGING the KEYS of WELLNESS:

Let's build some muscle! Ankle weights $15/set - 10 sets and Resistance Bands $50 for a roll - 2 rolls needed

Movie Time, who's bringing the popcorn? A month of streaming movie subscriptions $20/month, or provide a whole year of a service for $100 - VR system to use with smart phones $75

Let's go outside! - Senior Friendly picnic tables $1000/table, Bird Houses - $10 each - 3 needed, Raised Flower Bed - $75

Can you hear me now? Speakers for the gathering areas - $50/set - 3 sets, Acoustic panels - $50/pack of 10 - 2 packs (Cover the whole gathering area for $250)

Won't you pull up a chair? Stackable padded chairs - $660/10 - 20 need, Padded folding chairs for therapy exercises $250/5, Folding tables that fold in the middle - $70/table - 10 needed

A glimpse into their world - Shadow boxes to hang outside residents doors that can have their name, phots, and crafts to display - 100 boxes with doors that open from the front - $20 each - provide one for $20 or 5 for $100
