Our mission is to successfully integrate our homeless populations and their families into their communities through a holistic network of community support systems that are willing and able to provide exemplary service in a coordinated and deliberate fashion. The Navigation Center coordinates a collective impact model to find community solutions to this type of complex problem through a common agenda, shared measurement, mutually reinforcing activities, and continuous communication. Within our center we have a willingness to be a curious servant leader who firmly believes our role is to support and facilitate the community's ability to identify gaps of services, to learn from and execute emergent strategies.
Everyday at the Navigation Center we engage with clients whose situations run the gamut from single parents with children fleeing domestic violence, to families with children experiencing homelessness due to injury, job loss, the effects of Covid-19, to veterans who have fallen through the cracks, and more. Regardless of their situation, all of them need a helping hand and someone to empower them with the tools and skills they need to escape or prevent homelessness. The funds that you give will directly enable us to help families with children navigate their way into a permanent home by allowing us to pay for emergency housing, provide assistance with deposits and first month's rent, and secure a place where a family can feel safe and secure night after night.
