Story
On Saturday 5th September, Simon from Little Gizmo Entertainment and Adam the Landlord of The King's Arms are cycling 30 miles to raise money for The Dorset Children's Foundation, a wonderful local charity that supports children with disabilities and their families across Dorset.
They will be setting off from The King's Arms Pub, Wallisdown at 7:00am, returning at around 1:00pm, before celebrating with a Family Fun Day from 1:00pm to 3:00pm featuring live music, food, a raffle and entertainment from Little Gizmo's Entertainment.
To make the challenge even more fun, I'll be stopping at checkpoints along the route where some of Little Gizmo's amazing characters will be waiting to cheer me on, pose for photos and maybe even throw a few water surprises my way!
The Dorset Children's Foundation receives no Government funding and relies entirely on the generosity of the local community. Every donation helps provide vital support, specialist activities, accessible equipment and memorable experiences for children with disabilities and their families, helping to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.
No donation is too small. Whether you can give £5, £10 or more, every penny will help make a real difference to local families who need it most.
If you're unable to donate, you can still support us by sharing this page with your family, friends and colleagues.
Thank you so much for supporting our challenge and helping The Dorset Children's Foundation continue its incredible work. Together, we can make a lasting difference to the lives of local children and their families.
