Walking on Glass for Break
Organised by BreakThe fundraising team at Break have decided to take off their shoes and step forward over broken glass for disadvantaged children and young people the charity supports.
Story
Four members of the Break Fundraising team have decided on Friday 2 December to step forward - on to shards of broken glass - *cue Annie Lennox song!* and walk the walk of their lives!
The team will be made up of Tracey Warnes, Peter Marron, Hayley Malone and Sarah Bunn.
Pete said "Remember the time you walked over your child's Lego on the floor - well this will be MUCH worse than that! Please sponsor us!"
Tracey said, "I've taken part in the Firewalk before now (see Roarr-ing Firewalk on Facebook if you want to join that!), and the next step was taking this glass walk on - i have the feeling this will be much, much harder. I'm privileged to hear every day about the hard work and dedication that Break staff put in to supporting our young people, so i want to step up and do my bit!"
