Glenlola has been supporting Charlene's Project for quite some time and we have been delighted to support the development of Charlene's Secondary School in Uganda from the very beginning of the journey. With no local secondary school it was so obvious that the almost 7,000 children attending the 8 neighbouring primary schools needed school opportunity beyond P7. It is wonderful now close to 600 children attending the new school in just its second full year of opening. Some of the children attending are the first in their family ever to attend secondary school. Charlene Secondary School is in need of new dormitories and more latrines to cope with the growing number of students as the school is now accepting students up to A Level. Help us as we fundraise to help complete and support Charlene Secondary School so it can become a school which produces change-makers and leaders in these communities!
