Story

GloWeek 2024 will run from the 28th October – 3rd November

This is your opportunity to get involved to raise awareness of being seen, not hurt when the days become shorter in the winter months. As the nights draw in, it’s important that we all stay safe by being seen so we want to create the brightest GloWeek ever.

Our Simple (yet effective) Pledge:

This year for GloWeek 2024, we are asking you to make a pledge in support of our campaign. We are asking you to pledge to have a conversation, yes it really is that simple. Have a conversation with a child or young person about the importance of road safety and being bright when out and about (especially in the dark). Why do we need to wear bright colours? Why is it important to have reflective gear when cycling?

This simple pledge will get conversations started and encourage / educate children & young people about our key message to ‘Be Seen, Not Hurt‘.

Why do we need to wear bright colours? Why is it important to have reflective gear when cycling? What do you need to check before you cross the road? Having these conversations is the start of improving road safety this autumn.
