GMUKPT organised first ever vari - spiritual pilgrimage - in the UK in October 2024 by trekking on Snowdonia Mountain located in Wales. In this year 2025, next vari is being organised to the UK's top most mountain Ben Nevis, 1345m (4,413 ft).

The Gajanan Maharaj UK Parivar Trust (GMUKPT) is a UK-registered charitable organisation formed by a group of dedicated followers of Sant Shree Gajanan Maharaj. The primary aim of establishing the trust was to formalise and streamline its charitable activities, ensuring better transparency, governance, and accountability. The trust’s core mission is to unite devotees under the name Shree Gajanan Maharaj UK Bhakt Parivar to worship and follow the teachings of their beloved Guru (Mauli) while also engaging in various community and spiritual services. As GMUKPT continuing to grow rapidly, its primary focus is to provide a strong, supportive platform for devotees to engage spiritually, socially, and culturally. The trust also aims to further its charitable work, expanding the bhakta parivar through local volunteer groups across the UK to extend the reach of its activities and mission.

🙏 With the divine grace of Shri Gajanan Maharaj, the GMUKPT was formed in 2019 with a humble vision: to conduct community support activities such as warm cloths, blankets, coats donation, food donations.

Trust also believes in Health is Wealth principle and conducts various health benefits related programs for communities such as treks, Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) yadnya, charity walks.🕊️

✨ The Sacred Dream ✨

In 2022, the trust received divine inspiration to manifest a blessed dream:

👉 To build the first-ever Maharashtrian temple in the UK – a true sanctum of bhakti, culture, and unity. 🛕

⛰️ 2024: The Spiritual Wari Begins - Snowdonia Trek

On 5th October 2024 , in a powerful act of devotion, 14 Sevekaris embarked on a Vari — climbing the second highest mountain in the UK (1,065m / 3,494 ft).

They carried:

• 👣 Shri Gajanan Maharaj Paduka

• 🙏 Shri Vithal-Rakhumai Murtis

• 🌿 Tulasi Vrindavan

• 🏳️‍🌈 Saffron Dhwaj & Indian Tricolour

🔥 This was not just a trek—it was physical and mental fitness test as majority trekkers were trekking for the first time and a divine act of bhakti, a sacred step towards temple seva.

💰 The Wari served as a fundraiser and by divine grace and generous contributions throughout the world, funds were raised lovingly.
